Climbing the Walls

This week's theme is 'Reaching New Heights'. Starting our day with tefilah for Rosh Chodesh was certainly elevating! Then the campers learned about the prohibitions during the Nine Days. And then, in spite of our sorrow, we set off for fun. 

Today's transit was bus.

 To Seattle Bouldering Project for rock climbing.

 
 

 

 

 It was amazing!

Home again on the bus. 

 Ironically, after scaling the walls and cheering with joy, the walk back up the hill to BCMH caused a lot of whining.

Back at camp we split up for different activities like:
Duct tape art!

 Prison ball!

Decorating our green camp shirts.

 Finishing our massive water pillow. 

We then sang 'yaale v'yavo' in keeping with Rosh Chodesh and the theme of getting higher.
