Survival at Northwest Trek (Week 4, Day 2)

Today we went to Northwest Trek, a wildlife park celebrating the animals native to the region. After a looong bus ride we were happy to unload for lunch.

Then it was time to see the animals. The first stop was owls, which involved a long conversation about Hedwig.

 'Knock knock!'
'Who's there?'
'Who.'
'Who who?'
'Are you also an owl?'

Then we got ready for safari!

Today's schedule prevented having a formal learning session. But nothing stands in the way of learning Torah. Observing the animals led to MANY discussions about kosher animals and shofar.
After safari we saw a few more animals including a really cute skunk.

Finally it was time for the long journey back.
There was a moment we worried about bus trouble
but all was fine.

Another day of surviving the wild.
